Spring Essentials

I just wanted to let you know what i keep in my little "makeup bag" during the spring time.

1.Carmex - definite necessity!!! I'm so obsessed with carmex lip balms, i have the original stick carmex with SPF15. It's really important to have SPF not only on your face, but on your lips also :) 

2.Tinted lip balm - I like to keep at least 2 tinted lip balms in my makeup bag since i tend to be using them instead of lip gloss now.

3.Pink lip gloss 

4.Mascara - i didn't have mascara in my daily routine during the winter but now that spring's here i never forget to apply mascara! I recommend L'Oreal and Maybelline mascaras since they're cheap but still really good quality.

5.Concealer 

BB Creams

You know what's the HUGE hit for this spring and summer? That's right.
BB CREAMS!

A lot of people think that there's no difference between tinted moisturizers and BB creams, but there's a huge difference actually.A tinted moisturizer is just a moisturizer with a bit of tint that basically just works as sheer moisturizing foundation.
A BB cream is supposed to do a LOT more than what a tinted moisturizer does.BB stands for blemish balms :)
BB Creams like tinted moisturizers provide light coverage to even out skintone though some provide light to medium coverage, but unlike them help fade acne scars, dark spots/undereye circles, prevent skin from darkening, help protect against wrinkling, while coming with a pretty high spf and not breaking out skin, so suitable for sensitive or acne prone skin.

I know,that's like a miracle in a little tube :D !

Wondering which BB cream to try? There are some ideas :) 

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB cream - 

known as a great solution for those of you looking for a super CHEAP miracle - it only costs 13$! Some people do claim it's not as good as some other BB creams...

L'oreal nude magique BB cream -

this one has such an interesting formula! It comes out of the tube white but blends to your natural skin color which is AMAZING! But,you still have to choose from light/medium/dark :) 

Smashbox BB cream - 

If you're looking for an AMAZING high-end BB cream that's the one to go for. I recommend it! :)

Revlon nail polish in Minted

A week ago there was a sale (20% off Revlon) at my local drugstore and i got their nail polish in Minted!
My first impression was that it's EXTREMELY pretty! I'm now IN LOVE with this nail polish :)

 

First of all, i found it really easy to apply, the brush isn't too small or too big, i like it.
Some people say that it's sheer but i applied two coats only and it looked super opaque! I only had it on for 2-3 days because i wanted to try other nail polishes too, but i don't think it would've lasted much longer.
Plus, it's pretty much an exact dupe for China Glaze in Re-fresh mint , only it's a lot cheaper :)
I'm going to be wearing this ALL THE TIME this spring and summer (mostly spring)

Sinful Colors - SCANDAL (855)

I bought the sinful colors nail polish in scandal...It's basically a really pretty peachy pink nail polish that is perfect for the spring and summer time. 

I do have to admit that it looks gorgeous on my nails <3 I've been getting lots of compliments with this nail polish. It's not super long-lasting, it only stays on for about 2-3 days.

If you're looking for an opaque nail polish,this definitely isn't the one for you,it's quite sheer but i can get over it just because of the amazing color.
